5 Days of Silence

As I sit to write this I am preparing to leave for a “Silent Retreat” in Northern California with Aydyashanti. I am excited and curious. I am going in with an open mind, an open heart and looking forward to the space the silence will bring.

My intention for these 5 Days of Silence is to deepen a listening within myself and to build more trust in listening to the intelligent and divinely guided Inner Knowing within me.

It is not easy to stay in the space of presence, surrender, calmness and flow in the world we live in. Living consciously in an unconscious world can prove to be difficult. We are often being pulled away from ourselves to take care of someone else, to attend to a situation, to offer a solution for another, and the list goes on.

When you are pulled away from your center (your true self), pain is one of the indicators that something is not being heard, not being attended to, or not being listened to.

When you take time to deepen your attention beyond the pain, pulling back the curtains to look behind the pain, we often find miraculous insights. This is a step in transforming living life to your highest potential.

My intent is always to go beyond my pain. To enquire who am I behind the chaos, the busyness, the stress, the worry, the anxiety – and to feel more deeply into Who Am I?  What do I want? How do I want to be in this moment?

My commitment to myself this holiday season is to listen more deeply, resting into that listening and trusting what I hear, then moving into informed action from there.

As consciousness shifts and you awaken to discover who you truly are, you can help create the change in not only our own lives, but the collective world in which we live.

What is your commitment to yourself in staying connected this holiday season?

How will you be with you?

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

With love,
